Finalement j’abandonne mon conjoint ( qui va devoir braver la circulation routière pour se rendre à la gare ds l’espoir de prendre un métro ou un RER) pour vivre mes aventures: enregistrement après être passée par la douane because les ordinateurs de MSF, rencontre avec Angelique ( MSF pour Bangui également ) et installation ds l’avion. C’est partiiiiiiiiii! Ben non… D’après Air France, 10 voyageurs ne se seraient pas présentés à l’embarquement, mais on doit quand même attendre que leurs bagages en soute ( ???) soient évacués , donc décollage avec 30 mns de retard.
On finit par arriver à Bangui sous une température agréable de 30 degrés et une hygrométrie ressentie à 90%. Récupération des bagages à l’air libre: je suis contente, aucune mouche ne dénonce ma valise contenant du fromage et du saucisson, modestes présents apportés à mes futurs collègues expat pour me faire adouber. La charcutaille n’intéressera pas non plus les douaniers, contrairement aux 3 ordinateurs qu’ils confisqueront… Il paraît qu’ils sont neufs et que cette importation est illégale, alors que la douane française a accepté de les exporter. Il faudra donc venir les récupérer demain, le bureau spécifique venant de fermer quelques secondes auparavant.
Ah, chouette! Le chauffeur MSF nous attend et nous amène à la base où on aura droit à un premier briefing…On nous annonce surtout qu’on sera en septaine ds un hôtel . Là aussi qu’on atteindra avec un peu de retard, puisque le chauffeur s’est trompé une 1 ère fois, confondant « tribunal » et « assemblée « .
